girls night – olympic flame on grand.

I finally had some time to catch up with two of my lovely girlfriends the other night, and we ate at this great Mediterranean spot on Grand in the East Village.  I wanted to make sure I did a post on it because I was very pleased with the food. Kristina & I both got Gyro’s and Shelly got a salad.

I got so caught up in the excitement of my friend Kristina new engagement that I didn’t get a chance to take photos of the food, but I was really happy with it!

{ Me, Shelly and Kristina on the right. }

{ We had the house wine, I don’t remember what they called it, but it did the job! }

{ The flaming cheese display…yum! }

{ Kristina & her new BEAUTIFUL ring! }

{ Afterword, we stopped at Underground bar ( its literally underground – on the corner of E. 5th & Locust) for a nightcap.}

A great evening indeed!

sunday fun-day.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the East Village Bazaar with my mom and sister! We had a fun girl day! The East Village Bazaar is on Sundays from 12-4 during October only. Soooo, next Sunday is the last one. There is live music and street vendors – you can go and do some shoppping at the fabulous selection of stores in East Village and then take a nice stroll through the bazaar. You never know what you’ll find! We found a few Christmas gifts.

Here are some pictures from our day:
